एतत्तुल्यं यदि मन्यसे वरं वृणीष्व वित्तं चिरजीविकां च। महाभूभौ नचिकेतस्त्वमेधि कामानां त्वा कामभाजं करोमि ॥२४॥

IAST Transliteration

etattulyaṃ yadi manyase varaṃ vṛṇīṣva vittaṃ cirajīvikāṃ ca | mahābhūbhau naciketastvamedhi kāmānāṃ tvā kāmabhājaṃ karomi ||

Translation

దీనికి సమానమైన వరం అని నీవు భావిస్తే, సంపదను, దీర్ఘాయుష్షును ఎంచుకో. ఓ నచికేతా, భూమికి గొప్ప పాలకుడివి అవు; నేను నిన్ను కోరికల భోక్తను చేస్తాను.

Academic Translation

If you consider any boon equal to this, choose wealth and long life. O Nachiketa, be a great ruler of the earth; I will make you an enjoyer of all desires.
