Sukta 5.23
स हि ष्मा विश्वचर्षणिरभिमाति सहो दधे । अग्न एषु क्षयेष्वा रेवन्नः शुक्र दीदिहि द्युमत्पावक दीदिहि ॥
sá hí ṣmā viśvácarṣaṇir abhímāti sáho dadhé | ágna eṣú kṣáyeṣv ā́ révann aḥ śukra dīdihi dyumát pāvaka dīdihi ||
ఎందుకంటే ఆయనే విశ్వచర్షణి—సమస్త జనులకు మార్గదర్శి—దాడిచేసే శక్తులపై తన విజయబలాన్ని ధరిస్తాడు. ఓ అగ్నీ, ఈ మా నివాసస్థానాలలో సంపదతో మాపై ప్రకాశించు—ఓ శుక్ర (దీప్త) దేవా; ఓ ద్యుమత్ పావకా, దీదిహి—ప్రజ్వలించు, ప్రజ్వలించు।
