तं हि शश्वन्त ईळते स्रुचा देवं घृतश्चुता । अग्निं हव्याय वोळ्हवे ॥
Transliteration
táṃ hí śáśvanta ī́ḷate srucā́ deváṃ ghṛ́ta-ścutā́ | agním havyā́ya vóḷhave ||
Translation
ఆయననే నిరంతర ప్రయత్నశీలులు, ఘృతం చిందించే స్రుచితో కూడిన దేవుడని స్తుతిస్తారు. హవ్యాన్ని మోసుకెళ్లించేందుకు వారు అగ్నిని ఆహ్వానిస్తారు—హవ్య-వోళ్హా, అర్పణాల వాహకుడు.
