Sukta 10.89
इन्द्रो दिव इन्द्र ईशे पृथिव्या इन्द्रो अपामिन्द्र इत्पर्वतानाम् । इन्द्रो वृधामिन्द्र इन्मेधिराणामिन्द्रः क्षेमे योगे हव्य इन्द्रः ॥
índro divá índra īśe pṛthivyā́ índro apā́m índra ít párvatānām | índro vṛdhā́m índra ín médhirāṇām índraḥ kṣéme yóge havya índraḥ ||
ఇంద్రుడు దివ్యలోకానికి అధిపతి; ఇంద్రుడు భూమికి పాలకుడు; ఇంద్రుడు జలాలకు స్వామి—ఇంద్రుడే పర్వతాలకు కూడా. ఇంద్రుడు వృద్ధి-శక్తులవాడు; ఇంద్రుడే మేధావి వివేకాలవాడు. క్షేమంలోను, కార్య-యోగంలోను ఆహ్వానించదగిన దేవుడు ఇంద్రుడు—ఇంద్రుడు.
