Sukta 10.84
सहस्व मन्यो अभिमातिमस्मे रुजन्मृणन्प्रमृणन्प्रेहि शत्रून् । उग्रं ते पाजो नन्वा रुरुध्रे वशी वशं नयस एकज त्वम् ॥
sáhasva manyo abhimā́tim asmē rújan mṛṇán pramṛṇán préhi śatrū́n | ugráṃ te pā́jo nanv ā́ rurudhre vaśī́ váśaṃ nayase ekajá tvám ||
ఓ మన్యూ! మా మీదికి వచ్చే శత్రు-ఆక్రమణను జయించు—దాన్ని విరిచి, నలిపి, పూర్తిగా మర్దించి—శత్రువులపై ముందుకు సాగు. నీ ఉగ్ర తేజస్సు ఇక ఆపబడదు; వశిగా నీవు అందరినీ నీ వశంలోకి నడిపిస్తావు—ఒక (పరమ) నుంచే జన్మించినవాడవు నీవు.
