अहमिन्द्रो रोधो वक्षो अथर्वणस्त्रिताय गा अजनयमहेरधि । अहं दस्युभ्यः परि नृम्णमा ददे गोत्रा शिक्षन्दधीचे मातरिश्वने ॥
ahám índro ródho vákṣo átharvaṇas tritā́ya gā́ ajanayam áher ádhi | aháṃ dásyubhyaḥ pári nṛ́mṇam ā́ dade gotrā́ śíkṣan dadhī́ce mātáriśvane ||
నేను ఇంద్రుడు—అథర్వణ-శక్తికి నిరోధమూ విస్తార వక్షస్సూ; త్రితుని కోసం సర్పం మీదనుంచి వెలుగుకిరణాలను నేను జనింపజేశాను. దస్యువులపై చుట్టూ బలాన్ని నేను స్థాపించాను; మరియు మాతరిశ్వన్ కోసం దధీచికి గుప్త గోత్రాలు (పెన్లు/కాపులు) నేర్పాను—రహస్య అగ్ని మోసుకుపోవడానికి.
