अग्निमीळे भुजां यविष्ठं शासा मित्रं दुर्धरीतुम् । यस्य धर्मन्त्स्वरेनीः सपर्यन्ति मातुरूधः ॥
Transliteration
agním īḷe bhujā́ṃ yáviṣṭhaṃ śāsā́ mítraṃ durdharītúm | yásya dhármantsvàreṇī́ḥ sapáryanti mātúrū́dhaḥ ||
Translation
నేను అగ్నిని స్తుతిస్తున్నాను—భోగాల భరిత, యవిష్ఠుడు (అత్యంత యౌవనుడు); శాసకుడు, మిత్రుడు, ఎదుర్కోలేనివాడు. అతని స్థిర ధర్మాలను స్వరేణీ (దీప్త శక్తులు) సేవిస్తాయి; తల్లి ఊధఃను సేవించునట్లు—పోషక పరిపూర్ణతను ఆహరించి మా వృద్ధికై.
