Sukta 10.17
सरस्वतीं यां पितरो हवन्ते दक्षिणा यज्ञमभिनक्षमाणाः । सहस्रार्घमिळो अत्र भागं रायस्पोषं यजमानेषु धेहि ॥
sárasvatīṃ yā́m pitáro hávante dakṣiṇā́ yajñám abhinákṣamāṇāḥ | sahasrārghám iḷó átra bhāgáṃ rāyás póṣaṃ yájamāneṣu dhehi ||
పితృలు ఆహ్వానించే ఆ సరస్వతిని, దక్షిణాతో యజ్ఞం సిద్ధికి చేరువవుతున్నప్పుడు—ఆమె ఇక్కడ మా కొరకు సహస్రార్ఘ—వెయ్యి విలువలతో సమృద్ధమైన—యోగ్య భాగాన్ని స్థాపించుగాక; యజమానులలో రాయస్-పోషం—సంపద పోషణ, సత్త్వపూర్ణత, తేజోమయ సమృద్ధి—నిలుపుగాక.
