Transliteration

hótāraṁ citrá-ratham adhvarásya yajñásya-yajñásya ketúṁ rúśantam | práty ardhiṁ devásya-devásya mahnā śriyā tvám agním atíthiṁ jánānām ||

Translation

మీరు అగ్నిని—హోతా, చిత్రరథుడు (దీప్త రథమున్నవాడు)—అధ్వరస్య, యజ్ఞం-యజ్ఞస్య, రుశంత (ప్రకాశించే) కేతు (ధ్వజ-చిహ్నం)గా స్థాపిస్తారు. దేవుని మహిమా-శ్రీ (ఐశ్వర్యం/కాంతి) బలంతో, అతనిని ముందుగా ఉంచి, జనుల అతిథి (స్వాగతార్హుడు)గా చేస్తారు.
