आ विद्युन्मद्भिर्मरुतः स्वर्कै रथेभिर्यात ऋष्टिमद्भिरश्वपर्णैः । आ वर्षिष्ठया न इषा वयो न पप्तता सुमायाः ॥

ā vidyúnmadbhir marutaḥ svarkái ráthebhir yāta ṛṣṭímadbhir áśvaparṇaiḥ | ā várṣiṣṭhayā na iṣā́ váyo ná paptatā sumāyāḥ ||

మరుతులారా, విద్యుత్-మదంతో, స్వర్గ-దీప్త రథాలతో, ఋష్టి-ధారులు, అశ్వ-పర్ణ (చెక్కిలి/రెక్కలుగల అశ్వ) శక్తులతో రండి. మీ అత్యంత వర్షిష్ఠ ఇషా (ప్రేరణ/పోషకశక్తి) తో మా వద్దకు రండి; సుమాయా (సుందర కర్మలు) గలవారలారా, పక్షులవలె మా వైపు ఎగిరి రండి—ప్రాణబల వృద్ధిని తీసుకొస్తూ।
