गृणानो अङ्गिरोभिर्दस्म वि वरुषसा सूर्येण गोभिरन्धः । वि भूम्या अप्रथय इन्द्र सानु दिवो रज उपरमस्तभायः ॥
gṛṇā́nō áṅgirobhir dasma ví vō var uṣásā sū́ryeṇa góbhir ándhaḥ | ví bhū́myā aprathaya indra sā́nu divó rája úparam astabhāyaḥ ||
అంగిరసులతో కలిసి స్తుతి గానము చేస్తూ, ఓ అద్భుతకర్త (దస్మ), నీవు ఉషస్సు, సూర్యుడు, మరియు ప్రకాశ-గోవులు (గోభిః) ద్వారా అంధకారాన్ని విప్పి తొలగించావు. ఓ ఇంద్రా, నీవు భూమి నుండి శిఖరాన్ని విస్తరింపజేసి, దివః-రజస్ యొక్క పై లోకాన్ని దృఢంగా స్థాపించావు.
