itó vā sātím ī́mahe divó vā pārthivā́d ádhi | índraṃ mahó vā rájasaḥ ||

Translation

ఇక్కడినుంచే మేము సాతి (విజయం) కోరుతున్నాం—దివో ప్రకాశమయ లోకంనుండో, లేదా పార్థివ ఆధారంనుండో; లేక మహో రజసః (విశాల అంతరిక్ష లోకాలు) నుండీ ఇంద్రుని పిలుస్తున్నాం—విజయాన్ని మా అంతరంలో స్థాపించమని.
