Sukta 1.51
त्वमपामपिधानावृणोरपाधारयः पर्वते दानुमद्वसु । वृत्रं यदिन्द्र शवसावधीरहिमादित्सूर्यं दिव्यारोहयो दृशे ॥
tvam apām api-dhānā avṛṇor apādhārayaḥ parvate dānu-mad vasu | vṛtraṃ yad indra śavasā avadhīr ahim ād it sūryaṃ divi ā arohayo dṛśe ||
నీవు జలాల ఆవరణాలను తెరిచావు; పర్వతంపై దాను-సమృద్ధమైన వసు (సంపన్న నిధి)ని స్థాపించావు. ఎప్పుడు, హే ఇంద్ర, నీ శవస్ (బలం) చేత నీవు వృత్రుడు—అహి (సర్పం)—ను వధించావో, అప్పుడు నీవు సూర్యుణ్ని దివ్యలోకంలో आरोహింపజేశావు, దృష్టికి కనిపించునట్లు—దర్శనం తిరిగి రావునట్లు.
