हविषा जारो अपां पिपर्ति पपुरिर्नरा । पिता कुटस्य चर्षणिः ॥
Transliteration
havíṣā jāró apā́m pípārti pápurir narā | pitā́ kúṭasya carṣaṇíḥ ||
Translation
హవిషాతో ‘అపాం’ అనే జలశక్తుల జారుడు—జలాలకు ప్రియ ప్రేరకుడు—వాటిని పరిపూర్ణం చేస్తాడు; ఓ నరా, ఓ వీర ద్వయమా! ఆ బలమైన పానకర్త, ‘కుట’ (గుప్త కక్ష) యొక్క పిత, మనుష్యుల యాత్రలను ధరిస్తాడు. ఆ శక్తి మా లోపల జీవధారలను పెంచి, దాగినదాన్ని తెరచుగాక.
