Sukta 1.36
अग्निना तुर्वशं यदुं परावत उग्रादेवं हवामहे । अग्निर्नयन्नववास्त्वं बृहद्रथं तुर्वीतिं दस्यवे सहः ॥
agnínā turváśaṃ yádum parāváta ugrā́devaṃ havāmahe | agnír nayán nava-vā́stvaṃ bṛhád-rathaṃ turvī́tiṃ dásyave sáhaḥ ||
అగ్నిచేత మేము దూరదేశం నుండి తుర్వశుని, యదుని—ఉగ్ర దేవశక్తిని—ఆహ్వానిస్తున్నాము. మార్గనాయకుడైన అగ్ని నవవాస్త్వం, బృహద్రథం, తుర్వీతిని తీసికొని వచ్చెను—దస్యు (తమసిక శత్రువు)కు వ్యతిరేకంగా బలసహాయం.
