उप व एषे नमसा जिगीषोषासानक्ता सुदुघेव धेनुः । समाने अहन्विमिमानो अर्कं विषुरूपे पयसि सस्मिन्नूधन् ॥
úpa va eṣe námasā jigīṣóṣāsānáktā sudúgheva dhénuḥ | samāné áhan vimímāno arkáṃ víṣu-rūpe páyasi sásminn ū́dhan ||
నేను నమస్కారంతో మీ సమీపానికి వస్తున్నాను, విజయాన్ని కోరుతూ—ఉషా మరియు రాత్రి, సుదుగ్ధ ధేనువులా (సమృద్ధిగా పాలు ఇచ్చే ఆవులా). ఒకే అహన్ (దినచక్రం) లో వారు కాంతి-స్తుతి అయిన అర్కాన్ని కొలిచి కొలిచి పంచుతారు; భిన్నరూపాలైన పాలప్రవాహాలలో, అదే ఒకే ఊధన్ (మడిలో).
