जेता नृभिरिन्द्रः पृत्सु शूरः श्रोता हवं नाधमानस्य कारोः । प्रभर्ता रथं दाशुष उपाक उद्यन्ता गिरो यदि च त्मना भूत् ॥

Transliteration

jétā nṛ́bhir índraḥ pṛtsú śū́raḥ śrótā hávaṃ nā́dhamānasya kāróḥ | prá-bhartā ráthaṃ dā́śuṣa upāká udyántā gíro yádi ca tmánā bhū́t ||

Translation

మనుష్యులతో జరిగే యుద్ధాల్లో ఇంద్రుడు—శూరుడు—విజేత; శ్రమించే గాయకుడు (కారు) చేసిన పిలుపు (హవ) ను అతడు వింటాడు. సమీపంలో ఉన్న దాతకోసం అతడు రథాన్ని ముందుకు తెస్తాడు—గిరః (స్తుతివాక్యాలు) పైకి లేచినప్పుడు, అతడు తన స్వశక్తి (త్మనా) చేత అలా అవుతే.
