Sukta 1.161
एकं चमसं चतुरः कृणोतन तद्वो देवा अब्रुवन्तद्व आगमम् । सौधन्वना यद्येवा करिष्यथ साकं देवैर्यज्ञियासो भविष्यथ ॥
ékaṃ camasáṃ catúraḥ kṛṇotana tád vo devā́ abruvan tád va ā́gamam | sáudhanvanā yád yévā kariṣyátha sā́kaṃ deváir yajñíyāso bhaviṣyatha ||
ఒకే చమసాన్ని నాలుగుగా చేయండి—అని దేవులు మీతో అన్నారు; అదే మాట మీకు చేరింది. హే సౌధన్వన పుత్రులారా, మీరు ఇది సాధిస్తే, దేవులతో కలిసి మీరు యజ్ఞానికి యోగ్యులు (యజ్ఞియులు) అవుతారు.
