अवसृजन्नुप त्मना देवान्यक्षि वनस्पते । अग्निर्हव्या सुषूदति देवो देवेषु मेधिरः ॥
Transliteration
ava-sṛjánn úpa tmanā́ devā́n yakṣi vanáspate | agnír havyā́ suṣū́dati devó devéṣu médhiraḥ ||
Translation
ఓ వనస్పతే, నీ స్వభావం చేతనే విడిచిపెట్టి ముందుకు నడిపిస్తూ దేవులకు యజనం చేయుము. ఎందుకంటే దేవులలో మేధావి దేవుడైన అగ్ని హవ్యాలను సుసంపన్నం చేసి, వాటిని పాకించి ఉన్నత శక్తులకు తగినదిగా చేస్తాడు.
