Sukta 1.124
अस्तोढ्वं स्तोम्या ब्रह्मणा मेऽवीवृधध्वमुशतीरुषासः । युष्माकं देवीरवसा सनेम सहस्रिणं च शतिनं च वाजम् ॥
ástoḍhvaṃ stomyā́ bráhmaṇā mé’vīvṛdhadhvam uśatī́r uṣāsaḥ | yuṣmā́kaṃ devī́r ávasā sanema sahásriṇaṃ ca śatínaṃ ca vā́jam ||
హవిస్-ప్రియమైన ఉషాసులారా! నా స్తోమ్య బ్రహ్మం (మంత్ర-చింతన)తో మీ స్తుతి జరుగుగాక; దానివల్ల మీరు వృద్ధి చెందండి, పుష్టి పొందండి. దేవీలారా! మీ అవస్ (అనుగ్రహం/సహాయం) ద్వారా మేము సహస్రిణం, శతినం—వేలల్లోనూ వందల్లోనూ సమృద్ధమైన—వాజం (బలం/విజయ-సంపద)ను పొందుదుము.
