आ मनीषामन्तरिक्षस्य नृभ्यः स्रुचेव घृतं जुहवाम विद्मना । तरणित्वा ये पितुरस्य सश्चिर ऋभवो वाजमरुहन्दिवो रजः ॥

Transliteration

ā́ manīṣā́m antárikṣasya nṛ́bhyaḥ srucéva ghṛtáṃ juhavāma vidmánā | taraṇitvā́ yé pitúr asya saścirá ṛ́bhavo vā́jam aruhan divó rájaḥ ||

Translation

మేము విద్యా-ప్రేరిత మనీషతో, అంతరిక్షంలోని నర/దేవశక్తులకు, స్రుచీ (హవిర్ చెంచా)లో ఘృతంలాంటి సమృద్ధిని హవిస్సుగా అర్పిస్తున్నాము. ‘తరణిత్వ’ (దాటించు శక్తి) ద్వారా పితరునితో అనుబంధమై ఉన్న ఆ ఋభువులు, ‘వాజ’ంపై ఆరూఢులై, ద్యులోకపు ప్రకాశమయ రజస్సుకు आरोహించారు.
