Sukta 1.103
भूरिकर्मणे वृषभाय वृष्णे सत्यशुष्माय सुनवाम सोमम् । य आदृत्या परिपन्थीव शूरोऽयज्वनो विभजन्नेति वेदः ॥
bhū́rikarmaṇe vṛṣabhā́ya vṛ́ṣṇe satyáśuṣmāya sunavā́ma sómam | yá ādṛ́tyā paripanthī́va śūró ’yájvano vibhájan néti védāḥ ||
అనేక కర్మల కర్త, వృషభుడు, బలవంతుడు, సత్య-శుష్మ (సత్య తేజస్సు) గలవానికై మనము సోమమును పిండుదము. ఆయన జాగ్రత్తగా, మార్గరక్షక వీరునివలె, అయజ్వన్—యజ్ఞము చేయని (అర్పణరహిత శక్తి)—వారిని విభజించుచు తెలిసికొనుచున్నాడు.
