परि त्वा गिर्वणो गिर इमा भवन्तु विश्वतः । वृद्धायुमनु वृद्धयो जुष्टा भवन्तु जुष्टयः ॥
Transliteration
pári tvā girvaṇo gíra imā́ bhavantu viśvátaḥ | vṛddhā́yum ánu vṛ́ddhayo júṣṭā bhavantu júṣṭayaḥ ||
Translation
హే గిర్వణ (స్తుతిప్రియ) ఇంద్రా, ఈ గిరః—ఈ వాక్యాలు—సర్వదిక్కుల నుండీ నిన్ను పరివేష్టించుగాక. నీ విస్తారమైన ఆయుః-ప్రాణాన్ని అనుసరించి మా వృద్ధులు జుష్ట (ఆమోదిత, ప్రియ)మగుగాక; జుష్టయః—యథోచిత భోగాలు, సమరసతలు—మాకు అనుకూలించుగాక.
