The Release of Ahalya and Indra’s Restoration
तदागच्छ महातेज आश्रमं पुण्यकर्मण:।तारयैनां महाभागामहल्यां देवरूपिणीम्।।।।
tad āgaccha mahāteja āśramaṃ puṇyakarmaṇaḥ |
tāraya enāṃ mahābhāgām ahalyāṃ devarūpiṇīm ||
కాబట్టి, ఓ మహాతేజస్వీ! పుణ్యకర్ముడైన గౌతముని ఆశ్రమమునకు రమ్ము. అక్కడ బంధనస్థితిలో ఉన్న దేవరూపిణి మహాభాగ్యవతి అహల్యను उद्धరించుము.
"Most brilliant Rama! therefore enter the hermitage of the pious (Gautama) and liberate this fortunate Ahalya of divine appearance (from the curse)."
Dharma includes compassionate restoration: when the time is ripe, righteousness acts to release beings from suffering and reinstate moral order.
