హే భరతా! పితృపైతామహమైన ఈ ధృఢ రాజ్యాన్ని స్వీకరించు; హే నరర్షభా! నిన్ను నీవు అభిషేకించుకొని మమ్మల్ని రక్షించు।
O best among men, inherit this stable kingdom of your ancestors, get yourself consecrated and save us.
Kingship is not possession but protection; consecration is meaningful only when aligned with rightful dharma.
Invites reflection on leadership as seva and protection; aligns with vrata of non-appropriation and fidelity to dharma.
The call to Śccept and protect mirrors the dharmic role (svadharma) one must assume without ego, as an instrument for loka-sagraha.
Protector motif resonates with the idea of the Self as inner ruler (antaryāmin) sustaining order; outer kingship as reflection of inner governance.
Vālmīki Rāmāyaƺ 2.79.15-16 (preceding pleas and coronation readiness); Mahābhārata Śānti Parva (king as protector; abhiƾka and legitimacy); Rāmacaritamānasa Ayodhyākāƺ (Bharata urged to rule; his refusal)
Vedic rājan as rakitā (protector) (implicit)
Ayodhyākāƺ: theme of protection of prajā amid succession crisis
Anuubh

Tāraśƺja on vocatives ('bharata', 'nararƺha') with firm cadence
Rajadharma as protection: kingship is presented not as privilege but as the duty to safeguard subjects and maintain stability.
