चित्रकूटगमनम् तथा पर्णशालाप्रवेशः

सौमित्रे श्रुणु वन्यानां वल्गु व्याहरतां स्वनम् ।
सम्प्रतिष्ठामहे काल प्रस्थानस्य परन्तप ॥२॥
saumitre śṛṇu vanyānāṁ valgu vyāharatāṁ svanam |
sampratiṣṭhāmahe kālaḥ prasthānasya parantapa ||2||
హే సౌమిత్రీ! అరణ్య పక్షులు మధురంగా పలికే కూయుటను విను. హే పరంతపా! ఇప్పుడు ప్రయాణానికి సమయం; మనము బయలుదేరుదాం।
