Transliteration

kṛtakṛtyā hi vaidehī chāyevā’nugatā patim | na jahāti ratā dharme merum arka-prabhā yathā ||

Translation

వైదేహి తన కర్తవ్యము నెరవేరిందని భావించి, ధర్మంలో రతగా, నీడలాగా భర్తను అనుసరిస్తుంది; ఆమె ఆయనను విడువదు—మేరు పర్వతాన్ని సూర్యప్రభ విడనాడనట్లే।
