Sukta 4
इन्द्रा॑सोमा दु॒ष्कृतो॑ व॒व्रे अ॒न्तर॑नारम्भ॒णे तम॑सि॒ प्र वि॑ध्यतम्। यतो॒ नैषां॒ पुन॒रेक॑श्च॒नोदय॒त् तद् वा॑मस्तु॒ सह॑से मन्यु॒मच्छवः॑
índrā́somā duṣkṛ́to vavré antár anārambhaṇé támasi prá vidhyatam | yáto náiṣāṁ púnar ékaś canód ayat tád vā́m astu sáhase manyumácchavaḥ ||
O Indra and Soma, pierce ye forth the evil-doer within the shut-in, supportless darkness—whence not even one of them may rise again. Let that be yours for might, O ye of wrathful splendour.
ఓ ఇంద్రా, సోమా! దుష్కృతకారుణ్ని ఆధారంలేని, మూసివేసిన అంధకారంలోనే చీల్చి పడవేయండి—అక్కడి నుంచి వారిలో ఒక్కడైనా మళ్లీ లేవనీయకండి. కోపదీప్త తేజస్సుగలవారలారా! ఇది మీ పరాక్రమార్థం కావాలి.
