यः कीक॑साः प्रशृ॒णाति॑ तली॒द्यऽमव॒तिष्ठ॑ति । निर्हा॒स्तं सर्वं॑ जा॒यान्यं॒ यः कश्च॑ क॒कुदि॑ श्रि॒तः

IAST Transliteration

yáḥ kī́kasāḥ prá-śṛṇā́ti talī́dyo ’m avá-tiṣṭhati | nír hā́stáṁ sárvaṁ jāyā́nyaṁ yáḥ káś ca kakúdi śritáḥ

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

What talīdya breaks the vertebrae, and, yea, takes its station upon the body—out, verily, to setting let all that jāyānya go, whatsoever, clinging anywhere, is lodged upon the hump of the back.

Translation

కీకసాః (వెన్నెముక కశేరుకలు) ను విరిచే తలీద్య (రోగం) యేదైనా, అది శరీరంపై నిలిచిపోయినా—ఆ జాయాన్య (రోగ-దోషం) అంతా బయటికి వెళ్లి అస్తమించుగాక; ఎక్కడైనా అంటుకుని వెన్నుపై కకుది (కుబ్బు/ఉబ్బు) మీద ఆశ్రయించినదంతా దూరమవుగాక.
