यातुधानक्षयणम्। अ॒न्त॒र्दा॒वे जु॑हुता॒ स्वे॒३तद् या॑तुधान॒क्षय॑णं घृ॒तेन॑ । आ॒राद् रक्षां॑सि॒ प्रति॑ दह॒ त्वम॑ग्ने॒ न नो॑ गृ॒हाणा॒मुप॑ तीतपासि

IAST Transliteration

antardāvé juhutā́ svè tád yātudhāna-kṣáyaṇaṁ ghṛténa | ārā́d rákṣāṁsi práti daha tvám agne ná no gṛhā́ṇām úpa tītapāsi ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Within the kindled fire make ye oblation, in your own place—this is the yātudhāna-waster—with ghee. From far away burn back the Rākṣasas, O Agni; let them not come nigh to scorch and harry our houses.

Translation

యాతుధాన-క్షయణం (యాతుధానులను నశింపజేసేది) ఇదే. మీ స్వస్థానంలోనే, ప్రజ్వలిత అగ్నిలో ఘృతంతో ఆహుతి సమర్పించండి—ఇదే యాతుధాన-క్షయణం. హే అగ్నీ, దూరం నుంచే రక్షసులను ప్రతిఘటించి దహించు; మా గృహాల దగ్గరకు వచ్చి మమ్మల్ని కాల్చి వేధించనీయకు.
