Sukta 18

यद॑स्य॒ दक्षि॑ण॒मक्ष्य॒सौ स आ॑दि॒त्यो यद॑स्य स॒व्यमक्ष्य॒सौ स च॒न्द्रमाः॑

IAST Transliteration

yád asya dákṣiṇam ákṣy asáu sá ādityó yád asya savyám ákṣy asáu sá candramā́ḥ

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

That which is his right eye—yonder, that is the Āditya; and that which is his left eye—yonder, that is the Moon.

Translation

అతని కుడి కన్ను—అక్కడ ఉన్నదే ఆదిత్యుడు; అతని ఎడమ కన్ను—అక్కడ ఉన్నదే చంద్రుడు.
