Sukta 4
प॒दोर॑स्या अधि॒ष्ठाना॑द् वि॒क्लिन्दु॒र्नाम॑ विन्दति । अ॒ना॒म॒नात् सं शी॑र्यन्ते॒ या मुखे॑नोप॒जिघ्र॑ति
padóḥ asyā́ adhiṣṭhānā́d viklíndur nā́ma vindati | anā́manāt sáṃ śīryante yā́ múkhena upajíghrati
From the footing of her feet there finds him one named Viklindu. From want of reverent bowing they are shattered utterly—she who with her mouth draws near to sniff.
ఆమె పాదాల అధిష్ఠానం నుండి ‘విక్లిందు’ అనే పేరుగలవాడు ఆమెను కనుగొంటాడు. నోటితో దగ్గరకు వచ్చి వాసన చూసే ఆమెకు నమస్కార-భావం లేకపోవడం వల్ల వారు పూర్తిగా చిద్రించి నశిస్తారు.
