For this man let there be, in every quarter, the Gods’ own light—Sun, and Fire, yea, or bright Gold. Let rivals be brought low beneath us; and this one do thou raise aloft unto the highest heaven.
Rishi: Atharvanic/Angiras-type attribution (hymn-level tradition; varies by anukramaṇī)
Devata: Tejas (radiance) embodied as Sūrya, Agni, and Hiraṇya; also the Devāḥ collectively
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh (4 pādas of ~8 syllables; Atharvanic anuṣṭubh style)
Primary: vira
Secondary: adbhuta
