तस्यातिक्रमे शुल्कं स्त्रीधनमर्धं चाधिवेदनिकं दद्यात् चतुर्विंशतिपणपरं च दण्डम् ॥ कZ_०३.२.४० ॥
tasyātikrame śulkaṃ strīdhanamardhaṃ cādhivedanikaṃ dadyāt caturviṃśatipaṇaparaṃ ca daṇḍam
ఆ నియమాన్ని అతిక్రమిస్తే అతడు శుల్కం (వధూమూల్యం), స్త్రీధనాన్ని తిరిగి ఇవ్వాలి; అలాగే అధివేదనిక పరిహారంగా దాని సగం ఇవ్వాలి; మరియు గరిష్ఠంగా ఇరవై నాలుగు పణాల దండం విధించబడుతుంది.
