Канда 11 «Атхарваведы» — сжатая «брахманическая» книга, в которой священная власть (суверенность) выражается через пищу (anna/brahmaudana), дыхание (prāṇa), обет/обрядовое соблюдение (vrata), освящённый остаток (ucchiṣṭa) и речь (vāc). Ucchiṣṭa is the sanctified remnant left from ritual consumption/offerings; Kāṇḍa 11 praises it as a potent residue carrying protective and fecund power that sustains continuity of sacred order.
