तमेव देवं सम्पूज्य गन्धपुष्पादिभिः क्रमात् । प्रभातायां तु शर्वर्यां ब्राह्मणाय निवेदयेत् । एवं कॄते तु यत् पुण्यं तन्निबोध महामुने ॥ ४९.४ ॥
tam eva devaṃ sampūjya gandhapuṣpādibhiḥ kramāt | prabhātāyāṃ tu śarvaryāṃ brāhmaṇāya nivedayet | evaṃ kṛte tu yat puṇyaṃ tan nibodha mahāmune || 49.4 ||
Tendo adorado plenamente essa mesma deidade, em devida ordem, com fragrâncias, flores e afins, ao romper da aurora—após a noite ter passado—deve-se oferecer (a oferenda) a um brāhmaṇa. E o mérito que surge quando assim se faz, escuta-o, ó grande sábio.
