पितरस्तस्य नाश्नन्ति वर्षाणि दश पञ्च च ॥ अदत्त्वा यस्तु भुञ्जीत नवन्नानि कदाचन ॥
pitarastasya nāśnanti varṣāṇi daśa pañca ca || adattvā yastu bhuñjīta navannāni kadācana ||
Seus ancestrais não participam (das oferendas) por quinze anos. E quem, sem tê-las oferecido, consumir em qualquer momento as preparações de navanna, incorre em demérito.
