Skanda Upanishad 15: Verse 15

तद्विप्रासो विपन्यवो जागृवांसः समिन्धते । विष्णोर्यत्परमं पदम् । इत्येतन्निर्वाणानुशासनमिति वेदानुशासनमिति वेदानुशासनमित्युपनिषत् ॥१५॥

tad viprāso vipanyavo jāgṛvāṃsaḥ samindhate | viṣṇor yat paramaṃ padam | ity etan nirvāṇānuśāsanam iti vedānuśāsanam iti vedānuśāsanam ity upaniṣat ||15||

Translation

Aquele (supremo posto)—os poetas inspirados, os dignos de louvor, os despertos—acendem (o ardor) em direção a ele: aquilo que é o posto supremo de Viṣṇu. Assim termina este ensinamento sobre o nirvāṇa; assim termina o ensinamento do Veda; assim termina o ensinamento do Veda—(assim declara) a Upaniṣad.

Academic Translation

That (highest station)—the inspired poets, the praiseworthy, the wakeful—kindle (toward it): that which is Viṣṇu’s supreme station. Thus (ends) this instruction concerning nirvāṇa; thus (ends) the instruction of the Veda; thus (ends) the instruction of the Veda—(so says) the Upaniṣad.
