Avadhuta Upanishad 24: Verse 24

कृतं कृत्यं प्रापणीयं प्राप्तमित्येव नित्यशः । व्यवहारो लौकिको वा शास्त्रीयो वान्यथापि वा । ममाकर्तुरलेपस्य यथारब्धं प्रवर्तताम् ॥२४-२५॥

कृतम् । कृत्यम् । प्रापणीयम् । प्राप्तम् । इति । एव । नित्यशः । व्यवहारः । लौकिकः । वा । शास्त्रीयः । वा । अन्यथा-अपि । वा । मम । अकर्तुः । अलेपस्य । यथा-आरब्धम् । प्रवर्तताम् ॥२४-२५॥

Sanskrit recitationAvadhuta Upanishad 24

kṛtaṃ kṛtyaṃ prāpaṇīyaṃ prāptam ity eva nityaśaḥ | vyavahāro laukiko vā śāstrīyo vānyathāpi vā | mamākartur alepasya yathārabdhaṃ pravartatām ||24-25||

“O que devia ser feito está feito; o que devia ser alcançado foi alcançado”—assim, de fato, sempre. Que o trato—mundano, escritural ou de outro modo—prossiga conforme o que já se iniciou, para mim, não-agente e intocado.

‘What had to be done is done; what was to be attained is attained’—thus indeed always. Let transaction—worldly or scriptural or otherwise—proceed according to what has already begun, for me who am a non-agent and untouched.
