Sukta 8.90
आ नो विश्वासु हव्य इन्द्रः समत्सु भूषतु । उप ब्रह्माणि सवनानि वृत्रहा परमज्या ऋचीषमः ॥
ā́ no víśvāsu hávya índraḥ samátsu bhūṣatu | úpa bráhmāṇi sávanāni vṛtrahā́ paramajyā́ ṛcī́ṣamaḥ ||
Que Indra, o Invocado, venha a nós em todas as nossas batalhas; que Vṛtrahan, o matador do Encobridor, se aproxime de nossas fórmulas de brahman e de nossas prensagens (de soma). Supremo no ímpeto, senhor da palavra do ṛṣi, que ele se assente em nossa oferenda.
