अभि गन्धर्वमतृणदबुध्नेषु रजस्स्वा । इन्द्रो ब्रह्मभ्य इद्वृधे ॥

abhí gandharvám atṛṇad abudhnéṣu rájaḥ-sv ā́ | índro brahmá-bhya íd vṛdhé ||

Indra derrubou o Gandharva nos espaços sem fundo dos mundos; e pelo Brahman —a palavra sagrada dos rishis— ele cresce, expandindo-se como guardião e realizador do mantra.
