Devata: Surya (as manifested light) and the power of Sāman/chant; implicitly the Angirasa-seer motif of bringing out the Sun

अर्चन्त एके महि साम मन्वत तेन सूर्यमरोचयन् ॥

árcanta éke mahí sā́ma manvata téna sū́ryam arocayan ||

Alguns, pelo canto, conceberam o grande Sāman; por ele fizeram o Sol resplandecer — trazendo à manifestação a luz escondida.
