ईळे गिरा मनुर्हितं यं देवा दूतमरतिं न्येरिरे । यजिष्ठं हव्यवाहनम् ॥
Transliteration
ī́ḷe girā́ manúr-hitaṃ yáṃ devā́ dūtám aratíṃ nyèrire | yájiṣṭhaṃ havya-vā́hanam ||
Translation
Com a palavra eu adoro o Fogo colocado por Manu, a quem os deuses puseram em movimento como mensageiro — o caminhante incansável, o mais potente no sacrifício, o portador da oferenda.
