Transliteration

prá dyā́vā yajñáiḥ pṛthivī́ námobhiḥ sabā́dha īḷe bṛhatī́ yájatre | té cíd dhi pū́rve kaváyo gṛṇántaḥ puró mahī́ dadhire deváputre ||

Translation

O Céu com sacrifícios, a Terra com reverências — juntos, sem separação — eu invoco os dois Vastos, dignos de oferenda. Pois até os antigos kavi, cantando, os puseram à frente: os grandes, nascidos dos deuses.
