Sukta 7.23
एवेदिन्द्रं वृषणं वज्रबाहुं वसिष्ठासो अभ्यर्चन्त्यर्कैः । स नः स्तुतो वीरवद्धातु गोमद्यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः ॥
evéd índraṃ vṛ́ṣaṇaṃ vájra-bāhuṃ vasiṣṭhā́so abhy àrcanty arkáiḥ | sá naḥ stutó vī́ra-vad dhātu gómad yūyáṃ pāta svastí-bhiḥ sadā́ naḥ ||
Assim os Vasiṣṭha entoam hinos a Indra, o Touro, de braço que empunha o vajra. Que ele, louvado, nos conceda a riqueza dos raios e a riqueza do poder heroico; e vós, guardiões divinos, protegei-nos sempre com bem-estar e bons auspícios.
