Sukta 7.18
नि गव्यवोऽनवो द्रुह्यवश्च षष्टिः शता सुषुपुः षट् सहस्रा । षष्टिर्वीरासो अधि षड्दुवोयु विश्वेदिन्द्रस्य वीर्या कृतानि ॥
ní gavyávo 'návo druhyávaś ca ṣaṣṭíḥ śatá susupuḥ ṣáṭ sahasrā́ | ṣaṣṭír vīrā́so ádhi ṣáḍ duvoyú víśved índrasya vīryā̀ kṛtā́ni ||
Os Gavyas, os Anavas e os Druhyus — em hostes inteiras — são lançados ao sono e à inércia, aos milhares e milhares. Em verdade, estas são as proezas consumadas de Indra: ele apazigua os ímpetos violentos e reduz as multidões hostis a um silêncio sem força.
