तव त्ये अग्ने अर्चयो महि व्राधन्त वाजिनः । ये पत्वभिः शफानां व्रजा भुरन्त गोनामिषं स्तोतृभ्य आ भर ॥
táva tye agne arcáyo máhi vrā́dhanta vā́jinaḥ | yé pátvabhiḥ śaphā́nāṃ vrajā́ bhuránta gónām íṣaṃ stotṛ́bhya ā́ bhara ||
Teus, ó Agni, são esses fulgores que crescem poderosamente, plenos da força do vāja; eles irrompem em movimentos velozes, rompendo os cercados sob os cascos, fazendo estalar os currais dos rebanhos luminosos — traz essa Iṣ (acréscimo, abundância) aos cantores.
