Sukta 10.95
समस्मिञ्जायमान आसत ग्ना उतेमवर्धन्नद्यः स्वगूर्ताः । महे यत्त्वा पुरूरवो रणायावर्धयन्दस्युहत्याय देवाः ॥
sám asmín jā́yamāna āsata gnā́ utém avardhann adyàḥ sva-gū́rtāḥ | mahé yát tvā purūravo raṇā́yāvardhayan dasyu-hátyāya devā́ḥ ||
No próprio instante do teu nascimento, as potências luminosas estavam presentes, e também os rios te fizeram crescer, bem guiados. Para uma grande obra, ó Purūravas, os deuses te fortaleceram para a batalha—para o abate dos Dasyu, os perturbadores.
