Transliteration

vihṛtya te barhiṇapūganādite śubhe vane vānaravāraṇāyute | samaṁ nadīvapram upetya sammataṁ nivāsaṁ ājagmur adīnadarśanāḥ ||

Translation

Depois de vagarem por aquela floresta auspiciosa, ressoante de bandos de pavões e cheia de macacos e elefantes, alcançaram uma margem plana do rio e, julgando-a adequada, ali escolheram morada, de ânimo destemido.

Context
