Sumitra’s Consolation to Kausalya
कीर्तिभूतां पताकां यो लोके भ्रमयति प्रभुः।धर्मसत्यव्रतधनः किं न प्राप्तस्तवात्मजः।।।।
kīrtibhūtāṃ patākāṃ yo loke bhramayati prabhuḥ |
dharmasatyavratadhanaḥ kiṃ na prāptas tavātmajaḥ ||
Teu filho valoroso, cuja riqueza é o dharma, a verdade e a firmeza dos votos, faz tremular pelo mundo o estandarte da fama; que, pois, não alcançou um filho assim?
Your all-competent son who considers righteousness and truth as wealth, is waving the flag of fame in this world. What is that which your son did not gain ?
